Wondering Why. . . .

Maybe it's just me, but what IS the point??

Why does the bagger at the grocery store load up the bag with so much stuff, and then pick the whole thing up and put it in a second bag for reinforcement? Would it not use the same number of bags to divide the load in half to start with? It would certainly be easier to carry!

Just another of life's mysteries to ponder. . . .

and then they are heavier to carry from your car to the kitchen counter. I would prefer two bags with a lighter load in each, especially since my three year old loves to help me.

I finally broke down and purchased some reusuable cloth bags from Wal-Mart that say "Paper or Plastic? Neither!" They were $1 each, and they are so sturdy with long handles so you can carry it on your shoulder. I just have the sackers put my stuff in them instead of wasting plastic bags.
