How Sweet It Is!!

They're back!!

As a lifelong Baptist, I've never participated in Lent, but I feel like I've just come through my own period of fasting and denial. After a month of being closed for remodeling, it was a beautiful thing to see that sign at "my" Chick-fil-A this morning!

The inside is just as beautiful. New (and more!) tables, lower and more attractive ordering and condiment counters, and the faint scent of new paint make it feel like a whole new place.

And the cow personally welcomed me with my breakfast:

Just in case you didn't get a good view, here's a close-up of my sweet tea (ahhhh!). . .

. . . and my cinnamon cluster!

The snow in other parts of the country is causing newscasters to say that March has come in like a lion.

But around here, it came in like a cow! And all is right in my little corner of the world.

(Have I mentioned how much I like their sweet tea. . . .?!)

It was a beautiful day indeed when Chick Fil A opened here locally. Previously, it was an indulgence reserved only for trips to the big city or long drives to out of town destinations. Now, I enjoy it about once a week! Life is good!
