TSMSS - Hallowed Manger Ground

Bethlehem, small among the clans of Judah, lowly and inconsequential, now teeming with families seeking to register for the census. Inns bulging with weary travelers, filled beyond capacity. A common stable, pungent with the stench of animals and dung, offered naught but a roof and a manger filled with hay. One of many such stables in the city of David, with nothing to set it apart from any other. Until this ordinary stable became the birthplace of a not-so-ordinary baby, and the simple stalls became a Hallowed Manger Ground.

Emmanuel, Emmanuel
God incarnate here to dwell
Emmanuel, Emmanuel
Praise His name Emmanuel

PRAISE GOD FOR THE HALLOWED MANGER GROUND!

I love this version of Emmanuel. God with us; how amazing is that? And how overwhelming to consider His love for us?

Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Debbie

Blessings Linda...such a powerful intro...yet Emmanuel deserves such power & glory and Chris Tomlin certainly exalts Him with this version of Emmanuel...reminding us that this is "hallowed ground" and as we stand in His Presence or celebrate His birth, we must PRAISE HIS NAME!
EMMANUEL...beautiful video...precious choice...thanks so much for taking us to that place! Merry CHRISTmas!

Beautiful! The story of the birth of Jesus is one of my favorite Bible stories. I can still imagine quite clearly myself listening to it the first time as a kid. You retold it so beautifully and I want to thank you for bringing me back fond memories. I like Chris Tomlin's rendition of this song too. Happy holidays to you.
