I don't think I've heard this song either, although the tune sounded vaguely familiar. It's amazing how many of the "oldies but goodies" can go unheard. Such beautiful lyrics!
I love this song Linda! I'll never forget hearing Sandy Patti and Steve Green sing this live at a Gaither concert many, many years ago. In fact, hubby and I found out later that we were both at that same concert, but we didn't know each other yet!
Thanks for posting the linke to William Booth-Clibborn's fine hymn "Down from His Glory." You can read about hymn, and about the original words that used to tune on my hymn blog today, Wordwise Hymns.
I'm 40-something and my husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in August of 2008. We have 2 teenagers, a son and a daughter. I was an RN in my former (pre-kids) life which comes in handy as I serve in our church's care ministry. I love being involved in Bible Study and Ladies Ministry at our wonderful church.
Chatting over a cup of coffee with a friend to encourage and support one another (and share a laugh or even a tear) is one of my favorite things to do.

That is beautiful, Linda. Was that the tune to another song? I think I have heard it before with other lyrics, not sure though.
