Ask Not for Whom the Meme Tags; It Tags for Thee!

I've been tagged on a fun new meme by my bloggy friend Cindy at Letters from Midlife. She has given me the following seven questions to answer.

1. Who would you like to see in concert and have a backstage pass to meet?

Chris Tomlin or Mark Lowry.

2. What one skill would you like to possess that you can't already do?

Blow up balloons. I'm serious. It seems like my cheeks are going to pop but I can't get the air to go into the balloon. I thought my Mom card might get revoked when my kids were little!

3. What fictional character (from books or movies) would you like to meet?

Laura Ingalls Wilder. Oh wait, she was real! LOL Let's see. . . Anne of Green Gables.

4. Where would your dream home be located?

Well, it would obviously be in Texas, and I like central Texas. Maybe somewhere overlooking the hills and one of the lakes.

5. If you could switch careers or start one for the first time, what would you like to do?

Book editor.

6. If money, responsibility and fear weren't considerations, what one great adventurous thing would you attempt?

I am sooo not adventurous! I'd like to visit all 50 states. Yeah, I'm edgy, aren't I?!

7. What Biblical event would you like to witness?

Jesus appearing after the resurrection to His disciples. Feeding of the 5,000 (How did the distribution work logistically?!) Pentecost. I would NOT like to witness the sacrifices!

Now I am supposed to come up with seven different questions and tag seven people, which I always hate doing. And you are not obligated to participate. And if I don't tag you, you can grab the questions and play along, or answer them in the comments! I'm tagging the following:

  1. Diana at To Everything A Season
  2. Louisiana Tara at Showing My Roots
  3. Bethany at Raindrops & Rainbows
  4. Ashley at Chapter Four
  5. Sara at . . .make music from your heart to the Lord
  6. My ADHD Me at Monkeys Are Funny
  7. Robyn at 3 Girls Mom

Here are my questions for you:

1. Do you prefer to read the book or see the movie?
2. What is your favorite holiday and why?
3. Which do you like better - the mountains or the beach?
4. If money were no consideration, what vehicle would you drive?
5. What is your favorite cold-weather beverage?
6. How do you communicate most often with your friends: phone, email, text, face-to-face?
7. How do you receive your mail? Mailbox on the porch, at the end of the driveway, down the street, or post office box?

Mercy! Thinking up the questions wore me out. And I'm going to get twelve more today for Lidna's Random Dozen! At least I just have to answer, not ask! I don't know how she does it.

Thanks for participating Linda! lol

I usually don't do the memes but was interested in the questions I got when I was tagged.

Just popped over for my regular visit and found my homework assignment. HA! I'm sort of like Cindy in that I usually don't do them, but yours is pretty short and sweet which works well for me.

Hmmm...biblical event: How about when Moses parted the red sea, or Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal or the valley of dry bones...too many to pick from1

Blessings

Thanks for tagging me: I'll definitely participate! And you came up with some good questions. I think I'll be okay with coming up with some new questions. My challenge will be finding 7 other bloggers to tag. Most of my blogging friends have let things lapse over the last several months/years. I think we all blame Facebook. :o)

I love that last question...I've never seen it on one of these tags before but that would make a good one for the weekly RD I think. I'm going to think about what event I'd like to witness...it's hard to choose just one.

Enjoy your day!

Thanks for those questions Linda. I needed help today for a post and just jumped on board with your 7 questions. I've got a terrible cold and my brain is not functioning very well. Enjoyed reading your answers as well! Blessings to you!

I'd like to be able to touch type a gazillion words a minute! As it is I sort of touch type and sort of hunt and pack. I am a self taught typist.

I took your seven questions and answered them on my blog. Answering your questions was a whole lot easier than thinking up my own!
