That gave me a literal pain in my chest and knot in my throat. Why am I so impatient with my parents? Did I yell at my kids when they asked something over and over? I don't know the answer to either question, for sure.
Wonderful, Linda--thank you for sharing this. Patience is part of love, and slowing things down (seeing through another's eyes) often times opens us up to unexpected joy.
I'm 40-something and my husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in August of 2008. We have 2 teenagers, a son and a daughter. I was an RN in my former (pre-kids) life which comes in handy as I serve in our church's care ministry. I love being involved in Bible Study and Ladies Ministry at our wonderful church.
Chatting over a cup of coffee with a friend to encourage and support one another (and share a laugh or even a tear) is one of my favorite things to do.

You're right! That's a "catch-in-your-heart" clip! Hope your family is doing well (brother-in-law, too).

That was so good and very sobering!
Powerful reminder! POWERFUL reminder of what really matters. May we all slow down and love one another as Christ commanded us to do.
Still wiping tears....

Good reminder of how we should act!

That is both sweet & sad. God grant me the patience I need in both situations.
