MY THOUGHTS

Colleen Coble writes great stories and I am thrilled that her newest venture is serialized into a set of six novellas, to be released monthly. Coble creates wonderful characters and a compelling story, and I was immediately drawn to Sarah. (Not so much to the insufferable Ben! LOL) Normally, novellas frustrate me by their brevity but Coble packs a lot into this small tome. While the serialization means that everything isn't resolved and tied up with a neat and tiny bow at the final page, the fact that I only have to wait a month for the next installment--instead of years as with many other series--assuages my anxiety over Sarah's circumstances.
