I'm TRYING to See What You're Saying! - Take #48

WEDNESDAY UPDATE: Explain this to me. Yesterday after waiting forever, YouTube told me UPLOAD FAILED. This morning, I went on my account on YouTube and it said I had one video, and there it was! So hopefully everyone can see it now, if I haven't run you off!

Okay, I'm taking the plunge. Sort of.

I'm neither as witty or as inspirational as some of the videos I've seen. But as the common phrase goes, it is what it is.

And I guess what it is, is sort of a Public Service Announcement. If I can get the video to post. Blogger isn't cooperating with the video my camera made, so I'm trying another route, but I'm gonna have to publish to see if it works. If it shows up and disappears, I'll be back. I hope.

Well, that didn't work to load it directly, so click here and be patient, and you should be able to see it.

[UPDATE: Unless you have a really slow connection, like dial-up, it should only take about a minute and a half or so to download. I'm not sure why some people can see it and some can't. I even tried doing it with YouTube and didn't have any success. Sigh.]

WooHOO!!

And what I said at the end about it being a blast? That quickly diminshed as I spent the last hour and a half trying to get the silly thing on my blog!

Wednesday - Okay, now it's back to being a little bit of a blast. . . .!

Check out all the other videos at 2nd Cup of Coffee.

  1. Thatta girl! I knew you could do it! As much as I enjoyed hearing you, I'm still a little distressed about your bones, but I see that you are on the situation like white on rice or a cast on a foot. I trust that you will be religious with your calcium. There's a funny joke just ready to be made there, but it eludes me. Maybe I'm buzzy after all these videos. Anyway, I'm glad you joined the par-tay, and where can one purchase those M&Ms?

  2. Not sure what's up but when I click "here" it tries to download to my computer and it says it will take one hour and 18 minutes to do that. So I canceled.
Is it my computer? How was Linda able to view it?

  4. Hi. I'm like Kim and couldn't get your video to open. I'll get my 12 year old to do it for me later (haha).
Anyway, I did notice in your profile that you like Fiddler on the Roof. I LOVE that movie!! Even have the soundtrack on CD (which drives my kids crazy!).

  11. BTW, the M&M's came from Target and I've also seen them at HEB (the grocery store). They have about 6 varieties.

  12. My Mom suffers from the same issues. She takes actual doctor prescribed medication as well as Calcium +D. Thank goodness you are doing better now and can wear two shoes. I enjoyed your video very much. Cute socks too. Christmas socks, yes?

  15. Yaaay for two shoes!! Thank you for the reminder about the calcium, I really should start taking that, although I've never had a bone density test. Is that something routine at a certain age?

Also, thanks for stopping by my blog.

  17. Hey there!

I'm with you, I did't want to show my face on the video and have been ragged on (in a loving bloggy kinda way) for not having my voice on my tape. Maybe next time.

I am glad your foot is healing and you now can wear two shoes. A bone density test is in my future as well. I think at my next physical, I will have one.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Blessings

  18. Yippee for you! TWO SHOES!

You cracked me up when you said you didn't want to show your face but then on the first take you had all of your personal info on the bone density test showing. Ahhh the little things!

Thanks for the PSA about calcium and bone density. I need to remember that I'm 40 now and need to take better care of this body.

    Have a wonderful new year!

  21. Hey Linda! It worked GREAT! Good job!

I had a feeling you had some osteo/calcium issues when you broke your foot . . . walking. I'm glad to hear you have a plan of action to overcome that annoying little problem. Let's pray for no more broken bones!

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and, since we started late here in our house, Happy Three Kings Day! (january 6th).

  23. Glad you're taking your calcium! And eat more of those M&Ms because I'm pretty sure that milk chocolate has calcium, doesn't it? I mean there IS "milk" in milk chocolate :-)
