They're Baack!

(The Addams Family movie, 1991)
Girl Scout: Is this made from real lemons?
Wednesday: Yes.
Girl Scout: I only like all-natural foods and beverages, organically grown, with no preservatives. Are you sure they're real lemons?
Pugsley: Yes.
Girl Scout: Well, I'll tell you what. I'll buy a cup if you buy a box of my delicious Girl Scout cookies. Do we have a deal?
Wednesday: Are they made from real Girl Scouts?

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED.

Soooo, what's your downfall favorite cookie?!
And how do you like to eat it?

(These are the types here in Central Texas. I know they have different names - and even different cookies - in other parts of the country.)

My Favorite: Thin Mints, straight from the freezer.

(Although Shortbreads are awfully good with coffee!!)

  1. It's all about the shortbread. I keep from eating them by the tube by hiding them in the back of the freezer and forgetting about them!

  9. Oh yes, I love thin mints too. I was really surprised a couple of years ago to find out I really liked the Lemonades too. It's funny how the names are all different now. I love the bottom ones too...Carmel DeLites, that is a new name.

  12. Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Shortbread.

And the beauty of this is that my MIL buys BY THE CASE - I kid you not - and shares! So, I'm out no cash!!

BUT alas - this year I've committed to a weight-loss team competition here at the office, so starting Monday - NO COOKIES!!

  13. Cute post! My fave are the Thin Mints, and I like them straight from the freezer, too. I had forgotten they're coming, and here I've been trying to eat all natural foods. Whatever will I do????

  14. Thin mints, Caramel D-lites, Peanut Butter thingies. Oh, I am in SO much trouble! I need to come up with (and PRACTICE) a good line of resistance.

  15. PEANUT BUTTER PATTIES!

Now I am going to have to avoid young girls in green uniforms for the next 6 weeks. I am trying to eliminate fats & sugars from my menu!

  16. Hmmm peanut butter patties, and shortbread, and Lemonade... Oh jeesh now you got me started.
Evidently I am a strange cookie...lol I do not like the Thin Mints. Chocolate Mint of any kind just does not do anything for me. Oh well we all are different! Praise God!

  17. I like the Lemonades and the Peanut Butter Patties -- there is an order form here on the board at work where a co-workers daughter is selling them. So far I've resisted.

  20. Thin mints! I buy some to share with family and friends, THEN, I buy some just for myself, not to share with anyone! I buy LOTS and hide them in the freezer so I'll have some for months to come.

  21. I wish I could eat Girl Scout cookies! I am allergic to wheat gluten-which means no cookies. I am buying some to help support my friends daughter who are Girl Scouts. Everyone eat a cookie for me.
