Congrats to all the winners. Please respond and send me your address by 12:00 noon Saturday (7/3) or another winner will be chosen. Thanks to everyone for entering and for your kind words about my blog!
. . .I've blogged 1,000 times!
One thousand.
I can hardly believe it. And you would think after writing 999 previous posts, that I wouldn't be at a loss for words on this 1,000th post!
Yet I am. How can I ever express what a blessing blogging has been to me? Getting to know such an awesome group of fellow bloggers and enjoying "virtual" interactions tops the list. And then I've gotten to meet a few of you in real life! I had no idea how much I would treasure the friendships that have developed between us. And though I'll never meet some of you here on earth, I look forward to hugging your neck at that heavenly blog reunion.
(There IS blogging in heaven, right? With no complicated html code and no spam comments?!)
Then there are the books and authors! I never dreamed blogging would lead to the opportunity to review books and take a peek in the lives of authors through their blogs. And getting to meet some of them personally and having the incredible privilege to interview them has been absolutely amazing!
I think this memorable milestone calls for a Super Sweet Summer Giveaway!
Ten (yes, 10!) of you will win a book from me. They are either brand new or very gently read. And you get to choose which book you want! In your comment, tell me the book you would choose from the many that I've reviewed; just type "books" in the blog search window to browse my reviews. (If you just can't choose, tell me whether you want a contemporary or historical and a suspense or romance, and I'll surprise you.) Leave a second comment telling me you mentioned this on your blog or Facebook and that will give you an additional entry. I'll use the Random Generator to choose ten winners on July 1. Unfortunately, I can only afford to ship to USA addresses. (Please understand that I appreciate my international readers more than you could know; it boggles my mind to realize the blog world reaches across the oceans!) If you don't have a blog, you must include an email address so that I can contact you. Winners will have 48 hours to respond with their mailing address or a new winner will be chosen.
Here are just three of the titles you might choose (linked to my reviews):
Disaster Status by Candace Calvert
Once in a Blue Moon by Leanna Ellis
Hurricanes in Paradise by Denise Hildreth
Have fun while you "shop" around in my reviews and choose which book you'd like to win!
