This was another of my favorite hymns when I was growing up. One reason I liked it so much (I think!) is because of the word order within the phrases being switched all around. But it also has such a wonderful message!
If you're visiting from Amy's, welcome! We are celebrating my MIL's birthday today, so I'm not sure how much blog visiting I'll have a chance to do. Have a wonderful weekend!
Acapella even! This was lovely!

I think this is maybe my favorite hymn. Growing up our church used to have sing alongs ? every once in a while on a Sunday evening. You could call out the name of a hymn and the pianist would play and everyone would sing. My mom and I were just talking about how much we loved those evenings and you knew you'd get your favorite. I always wanted to sing this one. Love Lifted Me was another favorite and I always requested those two songs. Thanks for sharing!

I remember singing this song over and over in my church. We don't sing it very often anymore, but it's still a great song with great lyrics. Thanks for posting it.
