It's Wednesday. Joyce has provided these lovely questions for our enjoyment, so read my answers and then head on over to her place.
1. March 2nd is Dr. Seuss's birthday so I'm wondering...do you like green eggs and ham? Okay-how about this instead...how do you like your eggs? Or don't you?
I do not like green eggs and ham.
I like them fried up in the pan
But scrambled's best, oh Sam I am.
(Boiled is okay too, occasionally.)
2. Is March coming in like a lion or something less ferocious where you live?
Like a lovely lamb, frolicking in the sunshine and 72 degree weather.
3. Do you work better or worse under pressure?
Generally under a bit of pressure as long as it's not frantic.
4. March Madness-are you a fan? It's college basketball in case you're wondering. And if you're outside the USA tell us-is there any sort of 'madness' taking place during March in your part of the world?
I wouldn't particularly be a fan except we have a church staff bracket competition that we do. It's all in fun and just for bragging rights. I usually am fairly clueless when I set up my bracket but last year I was the only one that picked a stealth/dark horse winner that went pretty far so I did really well in that region before I plummeted.
5. Under what circumstances do you do your best thinking?
I'll have to think about that one. (See #3.)
6. What item of clothing from your wardrobe do you wear most often?
Please tell me I'm not the only one who answers underwear.
7. Do you use sarcasm?
I suspect anyone who has read my blog more than twice (at least on a Wednesday) knows that the answer to this is yes.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Today is Texas Independence Day. On March 2, 1836, Texas declared its independence from Mexico. Happy Birthday to the Lone Star State!
duh! I never thought of underwear! ha!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Texas!
Ha! I said underwear too! Happy Birthday Texas! Have a great day. Blessings, SusanD
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of March Madness...but my husband is.....and it just now occurred to me why he is rushing to get a new TV installed in our family room!!! Our old one is on the blink, but it all of a sudden became a pressing issue for him.....hmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteUnderwear...who woulda thought?!? Love it! Guess this explains the sarcasm answer too!
ReplyDeleteI once gave a sarcastic answer to my brother-in-law (who asks pretty stupid questions) and he and my father-in-law and mother-in-law carried on a conversation on how they didn't like a sarcastic sense of humor. Right in front of me!
ReplyDeleteI figured things like underwear and blue jeans were just a given... :)
Your answers were fun today, especially #1! Happy Birthday to Texas!
ReplyDeleteGreat answers, especially about sarcasm! I have known very few people who don't use some form of sarcasm.
