Wow - This is Joyce's 80th Wednesday Hodgepodge! That's almost 600 questions she's come up with! Kudos to Joyce!
1. How many students were in your high school graduating class? Did you know most, if not all of them?
I think it was right around 500 - 504 seems to stick in my brain for some reason. And I didn't even know close to most or even half of them, not only because it was a large class but because I only moved into that district and school six weeks before the end of my sophomore year.
2. What was the last thing you photographed?
Well, I should have been able to say "myself in an apron, yesterday" but I forgot to do it. I honestly can't remember.
3. Pickles-love 'em or loathe 'em? If its love what's something you eat that needs a pickle?
Dill pickles - neither love nor loathe. I don't take them off of things but don't go out of my way to eat them. Sweet pickles, on the other hand, are vile.
4. What's a stereotype you seem to perpetuate without meaning to?
Everything's bigger and better in Texas! Oh wait - she said WITHOUT meaning to! LOL
I honestly can't think of one. I try not to stereotype, but many stereotypes exist as a result of valid history.
5. Ever been horseback riding? If so is it something you enjoy? If not, do you have any interest? Did you watch the Kentucky Derby? Will you be watching the last leg of the Triple Crown this weekend?
I have ridden a horse when I was a child, but I wouldn't classify it as "horseback riding" - both due to distance and ability. The remaining answers would all be "no".
6. What's your favorite 'wedding' movie?
The Sound of Music.
7. What is one 'tourist attraction' in the USA that you'd like to see in person?
Broadway. Or the Smithsonian.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
While I typed this my girl was exercising on the Wii; for the past several minutes she has been jogging in place and around the living room while the character on the screen is pounding the pavement. Why is it making ME out of breath?!
#4-haha : )
ReplyDeleteI forgot about Sound of Music. That's my favorite movie but I guess I wasn't thinking about it in the 'wedding genre'. There is a wedding in it though.
Enjoy your day!
I had not thought of the Sound of Music as a wedding movie. I do love that movie. You will love Broadway and the Smithsonian is awesome! I hope you get to see them someday soon.
ReplyDelete#8 - sometimes I get tired watching the cats race up and down the stairs. Do we get health-credit for vicarious exhaustion?
ReplyDeleteSound of Music is a good one! Your random made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteLOL on #4!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting that you put the Sound of Music as your wedding movie. It definitely is a sweet movie and good old fashioned romance!
