MY THOUGHTS:
I love Irene Hannon's books! Her first two Guardians of Justice novels were page-turners (click the titles for my reviews of Fatal Judgment and Deadly Pursuit, a 2012 Carol Award Finalist), and this book is just as gripping as they were. Just when I suspected who the "bad guy" was, Hannon reveals what I had suspected. . . only to further taunt me with the realization that it was simply the first of many layers. The story continued to twist and turn in ways that I had not expected, and I could not put it down. Irene Hannon is a must-read author for me, and this book simply reinforced that opinion. I look forward to seeing what she writes next!
