ABOUT THE BOOK
Combat doctor Ian Shupe returns home from overseas with his most important mission: to raise his little girl. But Ian's a single dad, and working at Eagle Point's trauma center means having to find child care. When bighearted, struggling lodge owner Bri Landis offers babysitting in exchange for construction work, Ian accepts. He vows to keep his emotional distance from Bri, yet can't deny that his daughter is blossoming under her tender care. But is he ready to believe that his heart's deepest prayer may finally be answered?

MY THOUGHTS
Cheryl Wyatt continues her Eagle Point Emergency series for Love Inspired with this second story. (See my review of The Doctor's Devotion here.) Stories with a medical setting always capture my interest, and I've enjoyed reading about Eagle Point as it transforms from a fledgling clinic into a fast-growing trauma center. Add in a little girl who needs some TLC due to her mom's abandonment and her dad's hectic on-call schedule as a doctor, as well as her dad and babysitter who need to believe that God has a plan beyond the pain they've experienced, and I'm glued to the pages! This one is small enough to fit into your bag-and your heart!
Sounds like a great book--my kind of a read!
