Intensity. Skill. Tenacity.
The bodyguards of Elite Guardians Agency have it all.
Katie Singleton, a partner with the Elite Guardians Protection Agency, stumbles upon her next assignment quite by accident. Spotting blue lights at a familiar restaurant, she stops to investigate, only to discover that owner Daniel Matthews has become the target of someone who will go to any lengths to put him out of business.
Daniel might be concerned, but he's not convinced that a bodyguard--and a female one at that--is necessary. A new attack and his niece's urgings are enough to make him reconsider. He and Katie must figure out who's behind the intimidation and threats--before a would-be killer strikes again.

MY THOUGHTS
Intrigue, danger, and suspense: Lynette Eason delivers these in spades in the second novel of her Elite Guardians series. I basically inhaled the first one, Always Watching, and Without Warning is just as mesmerizing. These books are standalones as the stories are independent, each focusing on a different member of Elite Guardians Protection Agency, although you don't want to miss a single page. Eason's character and plot development are impeccable, and I was immediately drawn into this tale of murder, arson, mystery...and romance. It's impossible not to like Katie and Daniel, not to mention Daniel's niece, Riley, who could probably join the Elite Guardians Agency herself before long! This is not a "just one more chapter" book; I found a bookmark to be utterly useless as I couldn't set this novel aside until I reached the end. (And then Eason left me with a spine-tingling excerpt of Moving Target, coming in Spring 2017!). Don't miss Without Warning, available today at your favorite bookstore.
