What Kind of Reader are You?

I've always been not only a voracious reader but a relatively quick reader as well. That has been an advantage as I've reviewed books because I've been able to get through them quickly. Sometimes I have to make myself slow down to savor a book because I find that the more enjoyable a book is, the faster I tend to read, as if I could simply inhale the book.

The downside is that I don't always have as good of recall as I would like. I can remember generalities and some details, but I don't have long-term, extremely detailed recall. On the other hand, my man reads excruciatingly slowly, yet he practically has the item memorized by the time he is finished!

I found this fun little test thanks to author Kim Vogel Sawyer over at the Writes of Passage blog. I did pretty well and even passed on the questions afterwards, although I didn't get them all correct! Give it a try and let me know how you fare! You don't have to share the exact number, just let us know if you read like the tortoise or the hare or somewhere in between!
