Move over, Cinderella! I found a version of this song with some precious pictures of moms and their kids. Happy Mother's Day to all of my blogging mom friends. And when Mother's Day has come and gone, and you are overcome with the dailyness of life, remember, you are making a difference. . . .
You'll find more songs for your Saturday here at Amy's!
Tears! This was SO beautiful. Thank you so much. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day.

I'm a bit of a SCC fan. (Which is like saying the Pope is a bit of a Catholic.) So I'm familiar with this beautiful song.
ReplyDeleteTrivia, but if you like country music, Sawyer Brown recorded this song a couple of years ago. (SCC wrote it, but apparently, he and Sawyer are friends, so....) It's got a completely different melody than the one you have here, which is interesting. But the lyrics are the same. They are so sweet. And so very true.
Oh goodness, what are you trying to do to me? I am going to be a blubbering mess before I even get to Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteLoved this song.
Just beautiful. We are SCC fans but I don't think we've ever heard this one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing it! Happy Mother's Day!
So precious! I'm with Joanne, I'm a blubbering mess!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Mother's Day!
Blessings,

Answer to your question: Mocha Lidna, I think it means, "I'm a bad mamma jamma." Does that clear it up?
ReplyDeleteThis is my "had a bad day, not sure if I am making a bit of difference, just wanna wear real clothes and talk to adults, does anyone care about what I am doing AT ALL?!?!?!" song. Brings me back to reality every time. Makes my day!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I'm with Stephanie and Joanne... the tears are flowing. I love SCC but had not heard this song before. He has such a way of telling a story with a song. This is my favorite post today so far!

I agree with Amy... this is the best song I've heard today. Had me completely in tears...and I love when a song can do that to me.
ReplyDeleteI got interrupted when I was here earlier, but I had to come back and comment. This song is so wonderful! It is just what we need to hear sometimes as moms! I need to be reminded that I am making a difference, even if it doesn't feel like it!
