Cute. I used to say something similar when I was in college near Buffalo New York, only it was Winter. Officially, Winter comes Mid December although snow begins falling in October. LOL.
That is HOT! I just thought to myself tonight, that come January, when I'm whining about the subzero temps, someone should remind me of my bazillion masquito bites that come with summer...maybe I won't long for it so much :)
I'm in my "fabulous fifties" and my husband and I have been married 25 years. We have a son and a daughter who are both in college. so we are reluctantly entering the empty-nest years. I was an RN in my former (pre-kids) life which comes in handy as I serve in our church's care ministry.
Chatting over a cup of coffee with a friend to encourage and support one another (and share a laugh or even a tear) is one of my favorite things to do.
Wow that's hot! I hope you guys get a break soon.

ReplyDeleteAnd then there's me. I'm rejoicing that it's finally summer. We hit 85 yesterday, if my car thermometer is to be believed. Woo-hoo!
ReplyDelete(It's a good thing we're friends! We can rejoice and mourn with each other as appropriate.)
In the Pacific NW, we have had what I have referred to as Junuary.
ReplyDeleteNot pretty.
But summer is here...it was about 84 today. Felt like a heat wave!

ReplyDeleteLOL! This is why Trevor went and bought a large, above ground pool Thursday.
