A Daughter's Journey Home (Dr. Linda Mintle) - I've picked this up and read a bit of it but I just haven't clicked with it yet.
DID THE CHALLENGE HELP ME READ MORE?
Fiction - Spurred me to read Pride & Prejudice! Non-fiction - yes. I had gotten bogged down with Mere Christianity and it motivated me to get it done. And it was also interesting to keep track of my books in one place.
DID I DISCOVER ANY NEW AUTHORS OR GENRES I NOW LOVE?
Definitely Jane Austen! (Thanks Lisa!) And I'll be reading more Colleen Coble and Amy Wallace.
DID I LEARN ANYTHING ABOUT MYSELF?
Verified that I am as much of a bookworm as I was when I was little!
AM I INTERESTED IN A "FALL INTO READING" CHALLENGE THIS FALL?
You bet!
More wrap-ups and lists of books read this spring can be found here. For lots of reviews from the various SRT '08 participants, go here.
Wow, lots of books, great list, I may have to look into reading some of them :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you've enjoyed Jane...maybe I need to pick P&P back up once again...I mean, it's only been a couple of months since I've read it last...

As one who struggled with a reading block BIG TIME, I am envious of all your completed titles!
Wow--you read a lot! When I participated in Katrina's first challenge--18 months ago--that was exactly what happened to me--I confirmed that I was still a big bookworm, even though I hadn't been making time to read like I used to.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that is a LOT of books. Fantastic job!! Looking forward to having you as part of the fall challenge as well!
ReplyDeleteSeriously. I've never met someone who loves to read as much (actually more) than I do! You are a super woman!!!

Wow! Job well done! Just tonight I finished Deep In The Heart of Trouble and loved it! Many of the books you read are on my TBR list.
