Huh?!

First, it was barnacles of old age.

Then, the broken foot and the diagnosis of pretty-advanced osteoporosis.

Now, I've been notified that my blog is listed on a site (I'm not going to tell you where because it's a kinda bizarre connection, but some of you probably got the same email because you are listed there as well) as one of the Top 100 Christian Blogs for Families. I was feeling pretty special until I read how they described me:

A grandmother and suspense novelist working in the Christian book publishing industry. Linda uses her knowledge of Christian books and life experiences to blog on books ranging from suspense thrillers to Christian devotionals.

Sigh. Not sure were they get that first part. I mean, I know you are all in suspense waiting for my postings. (Or not!) But a grandmother?! Nothing like being honored with a slap in the face. I'm so glad "they" took the time to actually read my blog and the About Me in my sidebar.

If you need me, I'll be napping in my rocker. Until it's time to go pick up my 13-year-old from school!

(Be sure to leave a comment here for a chance to win a cookbook!)

Oh Linda...that is priceless!!! I guess it's better to be talked about...even if it's wrong...than not at all! Other than assuming you're a frail old lady, congratulations on the Top 100!!!! ~Suzanne

I saw that and I was wondering about it. I figured I'd just missed something on your blog somewhere. LOL about the rocker. :)

Oh that's too funny! I've never been called a grandmother, but I was a stand in grandmother at grandparents day! That made me feel old enough! Of course if I had children at the ripe age of 19 or 20 I could have grand children by now! As it stands I will be old and decreped by the time I do! Congrats for the backhanded compliment!
