MY THOUGHTS:
I love hymns, and these beautiful songs become even more meaningful when one discovers the story behind them. This Special Edition of Then Sings My Soul is special indeed, as it provides information on so many seasonal hymns. This is the perfect time to grab a copy of this book and find out more about your favorite Christmas carols--and then continue throughout the year getting to know hymns sung at Easter, Thanksgiving, and on patriotic occasions. Then there is a large section containing the background of some of the most well-known and much-loved hymns. In addition to its history, each song also has the hymnal version of the song, so you can sing or play the piano (or other instrument) as you read. This would make a delightful gift for a music minister or anyone who loves these wonderful old songs.

There is a lady at our church who was swooning over this book the other day. I know it must be a good one.
