1. A new Miss America was crowned on Saturday night-did you watch? If you were a contestant what would your talent be?
No. First of all, the Miss America pageant belongs in September, on the Saturday after Labor Day, like it was when I was a child! LOL Secondly, it's nothing like it used to be and doesn't even appeal to me anymore. But I begged to stay up and watch it when I was a little girl!
My talent? I guess I would sing, but my voice certainly isn't pageant-quality.
2. Do you have houseplants? Real or fake?
Only because they are plants I received from each of the funerals of my parents. I'm amazed the plants are still alive, although they aren't in the best of condition. I am soooo horticulturally challenged! And the problem with plants is that they either die or grow! Why can't they just stay the same size, nice and manageable and full?!
3. When you were in school did you speak up or were you more of the hide your face, avoid eye contact, and pray the teacher didn't call on you type of student?
I'm sure it will not surprise you that I was a know-it-all. (Except in the classes that I didn't!)
4. Next Monday marks the Chinese New Year...what do you order when someone suggests Chinese food?
A new friend.
5. How would you define a miracle? What would it take for you to consider something a miracle?
Something beyond human control and capability.

Ooh, hard question. I really like Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast. But I also love Spoonful of Sugar from Mary Poppins. And Tomorrow from Annie.

I was singing 'Tomorrow' when I was walking the kids to the bus stop. Mainly because I really, really wish the sun would come out and warm up the day!

I agree - the Miss America pageant should be in September (not that I'd probably watch it then, but at least it would be airing at the proper time of year! - ha!).
I could easily waste way too much time on WWF. And my daughter finally persuaded me to check out Pinterest. I've got my work cut out for me if I want to keep my commitment to limit my time online!
