Wow, Lisa T. Bergren kicks off her new Grand Tour season with a captivating story! I cannot imagine what it must have been like for Cora to have her entire world upended as she discovers the truth behind the mysterious gifts she received each year on her birthday. Has her life only been an illusion thus far? Or is this new life, filled with a glamorous tour of Europe, the illusion? Vivid characters fill this novel as Cora tries to discover who she really is and what God expects of her among the cacophony of voices around her. Raised as an only child, she now must travel with her newly-discovered half-siblings, who are less-than-pleased about her appearance. Beautiful spiritual truths are deftly woven throughout the pages of this compelling novel, and the ending only left me eagerly anticipating the next books in this series! Put this one on your summer reading list!
