ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Paige Omartian is a speaker and recording artist whose battle with cancer as a child led her on a remarkable journey inspiring others to grasp the preciousness of life and live out their purpose. She has traveled the country sharing her music and story and was featured on Bath and Body Work’s 2005 Christmas CD supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Paige was interviewed on The Today Show and was the speaker and TV host for the ministry iShine. She released her debut rock album, Wake Up, in 2009.

MY THOUGHTS

In a celebrity-crazed world where bad behavior is the norm and role models for teenagers are few and far between, Paige Omartian is a much-needed fresh voice among the youth and young adults of our day. Wake Up, Generation contains a depth of wisdom and challenge for this age group that belies her youth, yet it is written in a down-to-earth, approachable style to which her audience will immediately relate. Her inspiring testimony reminds readers not to take life for granted and that God can use anything for His glory. Each chapter ends with an "Action Challenge" which provides readers with a springboard to apply that chapter's focus to their lives. I heartily recommend this book for small groups to read and discuss. I look forward to more from this young woman.
