Robin Lee Hatcher's writing talents are not confined to one genre and The Heart's Pursuit is a delightful novel set in the Old West. The story contains all of the aspects you would expect in such a setting but it is much more than dusty trails, rough personalities, and burgeoning towns. Hatcher has created compelling characters with wounded hearts and upended lives who wrestle with issues that transcend time and location.
