MY THOUGHTS

Colleen Coble's novella series continues with this penultimate installment, and as much as I enjoyed the beginnings of the series, this latter half is even better. Emmie Croftner gained my sympathy and admiration in the previous story; my heart broke for this young woman as she dealt with the emotional baggage resulting from past situations in her life. Coble gift for character development as well as setting shine in this story. I'm raising my mocha to the hearty women and men who endured harsh winters and dangerous conditions in the early days of our country's western expansion. Don't miss this book and series!
