MY THOUGHTS

I have thoroughly enjoyed each of the previous Chesapeake Valour books, and Dani Pettrey brings the series to a satisfying close with another captivating story. While each book can be read as a standalone, it is much more gratifying to read them all as each story contains recurring characters while focusing on one individual within a group of friends who work in a variety of law enforcement jobs. As always, Pettrey fills the pages with adrenaline-laced action, heartpounding suspense, and romance that keeps the reader's heart thumping for a totally different reason! No need for caffeinated drinks as you read this high-octane novel! Dead Drift will keep you awake late into the night as you determine to read just one more chapter again and again until you reach the breathless conclusion.
