TSMSS - A Song of Hope

One of Chris Tomlin's newest songs is absolutely incredible. (Surprise, surprise!) What an anointed and gifted writer he is. They play it a good bit on the radio and I just love hearing it; it touches me every time.

He tells the story behind the song here:

And here is the song. I chose a simple version with just the lyrics so as not to be distracted by images. The words are so powerful.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18

That is so beautiful! Just the thought of the Saviour calling me by name and rising to meet Him makes me say "GLORY!"

That song brings tears to my eyes! One week in church we started to sing it while still sitting down. You know how sometimes the spirit just prompts you and you move? I shot up and raised my arms to heaven! The words just overwhelmed me! Thanks for posting it Linda.

I know that you do reviews too. Check out my "read it list" to the right on my blog. I've been trying to do some reviews on the newest released at work. I would love your suggestions on how I can improve.
