(Being a Texas gal, his comments about "Woman," made me laugh out loud!)
(And then the comments about Mary at the cross. . . .Wow.)
MARY, DID YOU KNOW?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you.
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God.
The blind will see, the deaf will hear and the dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb.
Mary, did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?

Blessings Linda...I just love this song! And even though, I watched his comedy, I have tears in my eyes!
Profound! Inspiring! Truly enough to make us all wonder! What a blessing!
Indeed, it does not just speak to your heart, it does stir your soul!
Praising Him for who He is...our Great I AM and the mother, who watched Him all the way from birth to death and bore the heart of a woman obedient to her LORD!
Thank you for sharing your insights and these two videos, well worth watching!
This is such a beautiful song! Thank you for writing out the words. I didn't realize Mark Lowry wrote this one. So serious and different from what I know of his fun side.
Blessings to you,
Debbie
Awesome! As far as I can remember it's my first time to see and hear Mark Lowry sing. I've seen him in other videos, but didn't know about this til I've seen it posted on your blog. Thanks a lot.
Mary Did You Know, has to be my all time favorite song. I was so shocked when I first learned that Mark Lowry wrote it. He's such a nut -- but a Godly and God loving nut.
I believe that the gift of Mark Lowry is one of God's gifts to us. I love his funny side and then his ability to get serious. That's one of my favorite Christmas songs. And his monologue made me laugh out loud. Thank you so much for sharing this. I'll share it with my family later today.
This song is so powerful, no matter who sings it, it will make you tingle with spiritual realization. When you consider all the other factors, it reaffirms that the Lord does work in mysterious ways. His wisdom and love are infinite.

Linda: That was worth every single second to watch. He is so funny, but he said so much truth in that few minutes. And that song is one of my all time favorites. I love to think about Mary kissing the face of God. How awesome is that. Thank your for sharing this wonderful video and song this morning. Such a great way to start the day.
That's one of my favorite songs. I didn't realize Mark Lowry wrote it!
