Oh Linda, the most important thing you can teach them is the Gospel. Keep praying and living out the love of God each day. I pray your son will do well and love the Lord. I'm sure it's hard to say goodbye.
What a wonderful prayer song! May God bless your weekend move...and for your momma heart, know no matter where your son is...God is right there with him. Julie
Thanks for sharing this song. I have never heard it before. I am adding it to my playlists on YouTube and I am going to post it tomorrow for my Spirit Filled Sunday post. Thanks so much.
Forgot to say... I well remember how it feels being the one going away to college. I have not have one leave my nest yet. My fledglings have taken different paths that have so far kept them home but I pray this for them.
I hope you have a great weekend. I am sure there will be tears but God goes with him and back home with you as well. May God comfort you as you son steps forth to follow God's call on his life. You will always be part of his life.
Thinking of you! I have three blogs I read who have children moving off to college. I just can't imagine the mixed emotions the mothers' hearts must feel at this time. I know that will come our time for that before we know it.
I'm in my "fabulous fifties" and my husband and I have been married 25 years. We have a son and a daughter who are both in college. so we are reluctantly entering the empty-nest years. I was an RN in my former (pre-kids) life which comes in handy as I serve in our church's care ministry.
Chatting over a cup of coffee with a friend to encourage and support one another (and share a laugh or even a tear) is one of my favorite things to do.

Blessings and love,

Wow! Don't even want to think that far for my Kindergarten goer. Be encouraged that the LORD goes before Him and with Him.

This song makes me cry; such beautiful lyrics. Praying for you and your son as this starts a new season for both of you!
When my youngest got married 2 years ago this song became very special to me. It's exactly what I prayed for her.
