MY THOUGHTS

Lynette Eason brings her phenomenal Blue Justice series to a satisfying close with this heart-pounding romantic suspense. In classic Eason style, Vow of Justice pulses with unrelenting danger and non-stop action frpm the opening scene to the final page. High-stakes drama combined with richly crafted characters make the pages practically turn themselves. Linc and Allie garnered my admiration and respect as they race to find the person or persons bent on destroying them. Linc's family members, each of whom were featured in earlier books in this series, figure prominantly in this story as well, although the novel easily stands alone. Don't miss this captivating tale and series!

MY THOUGHTS

I know to take a deep breath when opening a Lynette Eason suspense because it will likely have to last me through the entire book. That turned out to be an understatement with the latest release from this gifted author. Called to Protect teems with danger and heartbreak as Eason delves into the heartbreaking reality of human trafficking, making it personal for the law enforcement officers who fight for justice each day. Not a moment is wasted in this heartpounding tale that riveted my attention from the opening prologue until the final sentence. Non-stop action, richly developed characters so real you might pass them on your local street, and an underlying romance capture the mind and heart in this powerful story. Add Called to Protect to your must-read list.

MY THOUGHTS

It's a happy day when Lynette Eason releases a new novel, and her Blue Justice serires is off to a great start with Oath of Honor. Eason pays tribute to the men and women who put their lives on the line daily as police officers in this capitivating story. Unrelenting, adrenaline-spiking action and heart-pounding suspense keep the pages flying, and Eason once again expertly ends each chapter with scenarios that make it essentially impossible to find a "stopping place" for a break. While I'm not sure most police departments would allow the amount of family members working together (much less reporting to a chief who happens to be the parent of the officers/detectives), I was intrigued by the characters Eason created, espcially Isabelle ("Izzy") and her siblings. The romantic tension between Izzy and Ryan adds a fun layer. A great reason to curl up on a cold winter's evening, Oath of Honor is a must-read!

MY THOUGHTS

Intensity. Suspense. Thrilling Romance.
Lynette Eason's final Elite Guardians novel has it all.

When I open a novel by Lynette Eason I take a deep breath, knowing it may be a while before I take another one, and Chasing Secrets definitely stretched my lung capacity! Eason immediately plunges the reader into the emotion and danger of this story and doesn't let up until the final page is turned. Each time I endeavored to stop at the end of a chapter, I found it impossible to set it aside. Filled with characters I either liked or suspected (sometimes at the same time!) as well as unrelenting action and a decades-old mystery, Chasing Secrets kept me up until the wee hours. I'm usually pretty good at sniffing out the culprit but Eason surprised me once again. A phenomenal finale to an outstanding series, I heartily recommend it as well as the previous (standalone but connected) novels. Chasing Secrets is a great way to wind down your summer reading list!

MY THOUGHTS

Wow. I thought the first two books in this series were amazing, but Lynette Eason manages to surpass her own standard of excellence with the release of Moving Target. Fair warning: this is not a book to casually grab, thinking you'll read a quick chapter or two. On the contrary, dinner will burn, responsibilities will be ignored, and sleep will be forgotten until the final sentence comes to a close. Eason pulls out all the stops in this chilling suspense with likeable characters and unrelenting heart-pounding action. She perfectly paces each word and action, stretching each scene so taut, the pages almost snapped from the tension as I turned them. Crisp dialogue adds urgency, and the result kept me reading as fast I could turn the pages. Each book in this series stands alone but they focus on a different member of the Elite Guardians team, so they do have intertwining characters. I'm already looking forward to the fourth and final book, Chasing Secrets, coming in August! Don't miss this compelling series. Get your copy of Moving Target today!
