I know lots of folks put pictures of their kids and family on their blog. It's a personal choice.
And even though I enjoy looking at your cuties, this is one reason I very rarely post pictures on mine.
I'd rather be safe than sorry. I don't even want to think about what someone with a slimier motive might do.

I just heard about this on the radio this morning. That's wild. Certainly makes you think twice.

I am one of the careless ones, I know. Somehow, as naturally frightened of so many things in life as I am, this doesn't frighten me for some reason. And I have to be honest--if this Czech story happened to me, I would LOVE it! So funny. But it wouldn't be funny, I know, to have a pic used in a scandalous way.
This should prompt me to watermark my all my posted photos. But is it SO time consuming. I may perfect my skill at watermarking with close up shots of my kids, though. Thanks for this eye opener!
This made me think about what I think about this. I'm still thinking about it. Thanks for posting this.

I had read about this before, I'm not sure where. But I didn't realize that this woman lives less than 10 miles from me. How bizzare!
Thanks for posting. I hope you don't mind that I copycatted you!
Exactly why I didn't even post a profile photo until recently. Too many odd cats out there for me to feel comfortable.
Mega dittos my friend!
You want to hear something crazy? I have been debating "revealing" my true identity on my blog since a lot of my bloggy friends are friends on Facebook so they know my real name and my hubby's name, etc. But after seeing this, it reminded me exactly why I'm keeping things anonymous. You never know what kind of crazies are out there!
I'm just thankful that in this family's case it was only a stolen photo, and not something much, much worse!
