About Me

- I'm in my "fabulous fifties" and my husband and I have been married 25 years. We have a son and a daughter who are both in college. so we are reluctantly entering the empty-nest years. I was an RN in my former (pre-kids) life which comes in handy as I serve in our church's care ministry. Chatting over a cup of coffee with a friend to encourage and support one another (and share a laugh or even a tear) is one of my favorite things to do.

This is a beautiful song Linda. I haven't heard it before and really enjoyed it.
This will be a comfort to so many... 'save a place for me'... those words make heaven so personal and our hope so real.
There is a video to this song about a woman who died of cancer but she spent her final times making memories with her family. Its a very awesome video and this song goes so well with it. Thanks so much for sharing.
Linda, you were so right about our song choices for this week. I hadn't heard of this song before but enjoyed it.
This life isn't really very long. We are just passing through on our way to our real home. I for one, want to make the most of the time I've been given.

Thanks for sharing that song, Linda. I had not heard it before. I was thinking of a friend who lost a loved one and of my parents who are in heaven.
I so love this song. Death is not an easy thing to deal with but when you know that person is dancing with Jesus all you can say is Save a Place for Me!!!
