MY THOUGHTS:
I heart Erynn Mangum and her books! Ever since I met her at the Book Expo (my interview is here), I've enjoyed reading her novels and keeping up with her on her blog. Her newest series, the Maya Davis series, is such fun to read. I purchased the first book, Cool Beans and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I was tickled when I was given an opportunity to review Latte Daze. This is a wonderful portrayal of a Christian young woman who struggles with inconsistencies in her quiet time, who loves her family, who is thrilled for her newly-engaged roommate, and who wants to please God in all she does. The lively conversations and witty repartee kept me smiling throughout the story and wishing Maya had been around when I was in my early twenties! I look forward to the next book, Double Shot, which will be released in October.
