Although most of my time was spent helping my mother-in-law with her cataract surgery and subsequent driving needs, I did have time for one treat. On Wednesday I had a quick lunch with my sweet friend Xandra. It was way too short since the place she works had the crazy idea that she needed to be back in an hour, but we made every minute count.
Anyway, she's posted a few details on her blog. Most of it's accurate. Except don't believe the part about my secret desire to be an Aggie. (I promise all she drank was water. Those jalapenos in her gravy must have been tainted.) There's even a picture we took, so those of you who have been wondering what I look like can have your curiosity satisfied. I promise I'm not wearing stilts!
