One man lives to see her dead--the other is fighting to keep her alive.

Twelve years ago, forensic anthropologist Jamie Cash survived a brutal kidnapping. After years of therapy, she has made a life for herself--though one that is haunted by memories of her terrifying past. She finally lets herself believe that she can have a close relationship with a man, when signs start appearing that point to one frightening fact--her attacker is back and ready to finish the job he started all those years ago.

Can she escape his grasp a second time? And will she ever be able to let down her guard enough to find true love?

Filled with heart-stopping suspense, gritty realism, and a touch of romance, Don't Look Back pulls you into its twists and turns to hold you there until the very last page.

MY THOUGHTS:
This book is the definition of heart-pounding suspense. I was almost scared to death to keep reading, yet at the same time, I couldn't put it down. This is definitely not a cozy read to help you drift off to sleep. There were just enough hints so that I was pretty sure who the "bad guy" was, and I don't remember ever reading a book that I so badly wanted to reach into the pages and forewarn the characters. Lynette Eason has written an exceptional book that literally made me catch my breath. I loved the portral of Jamie and the multi-faceted aspects of her life: her terror of the returning attacker, her desire to trust God in the midst of her circumstances, and her gradual ability to authentically share her experiences and find support and comfort from the man who is determined to keep her safe. Just when you think it's going to be resolved, a new twist sends you down another treacherous path! This is a wonderful follow-up book to Too Close to Home, and I can't wait to see what's next in this Women of Justice Series!

I am reading "Too Close to Home" right now! I will have to find the second book. My youngest daughter and I love CSI like programs, so I love these kinds of books. Thanks so much for the reviews.

This sounds wonderful, but I don't think I'll want to read it until after Amoeba returns from his business trip!

Sounds intriguing, but suspense is really hard for me to handle. I'm not sure I could read it or not.
